I love your topic! I completely agree with you on this topic. I think the idea of homosexuality is taken way to serious and it is held to a way higher standard than alot of things that are considered sins. People sin everyday but foe some reason this is one of the major ones frowned upon, if they want to do it let them.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting topic, I dont know if it's a good one for a research paper but if that's something your really interested in and can write about then go for it. Maybe incorporate issues on homosexuality in today's world like the don't ask don't tell stuff with the military and marriage laws.
ReplyDeleteThis a great topic that you obviously seen very passionate about. With that passion, you should be able to create a powerful argument that goes against what the law says today. I think this a great choice and you should have plenty of info to find for research.
ReplyDeleteI really like this idea. I could never write such a long paper about it, though. I would say focus on the fact that they are still shunned in our "open" society.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great topic but that your question need to be tweaked a bit. For example, homosexuality itself is not illegal--homosexual marriage is. Shifting the question a bit woudl help your readers understand better. Try somehting more like this: Does making same-sex marriage illegal create an unjust law? Taht's something you could sink your teeth into for research.
